Make sure the measuring tape is parallel to the floor. Measure around the fullest part of the bust. Keep one finger inside the measuring tape to allow for movement.
*Measure around the narrowest part of the waist, keep one finger inside the tape to allow for movement. This is the slimmest point above your navel and below your ribs.
*Start at the base of neck, measuring straight down over the bust. Hold the measuring tape with your finger parallel under the breast, and the number at the bottom of your finger is the measurement.

*Use a piece of tape or a clothespin to adhere the measuring tape to the base of your neck. Stand up straight and keep the tape measure close to your body, hold under your breast with one hand while guiding it from the base of your neck to your leg at your desired dress length.

This is hand embroidery only, without any machine embroidery. Vyshyvanka is the Ukrainian traditional clothes, which contains the elements of the national ethnic embroidery. There are many design variations dresses. It was made of homemade linen which was produced by loom. Vyshyvanka can have different patterns and colors, symbolising different regions of Ukraine, differents subcultures and many different sub ethnicities. Vyshyvanka is a symbol of patriotism, also it is a sign of civilized people, people of good will who support and love Ukraine. This vyshyvanka is fully handmade, both cross stitch and sewing.
